It’s a fact universally acknowledged that eventually each studio, manufacturing firm or, on this case, streaming service will finally adapt a Jane Austen story. In the present day it is the flip of Netflix, which has its model of Persuasion on the way in which and has debuted some preliminary photos.

Starring Dakota Johnson, Cosmo Jarvis, Nikki Amuka-Chook, Mia McKenna-Bruce, Richard E. Grant and Henry Golding, Persuasion adapts Austen’s novel a few younger lady named Anne Elliot.

Dwelling together with her snobby household on the point of chapter, she is a non-conforming lady with fashionable sensibilities. When Frederick Wentworth – the dashing one she let get away – crashes again into her life, Anne should select between placing the previous behind her or listening to her coronary heart relating to second possibilities.

This take comes from director Carrie Cracknell, with Alice Victoria Winslow and Ron Bass on adaptation patrol. Persuasion will hit Netflix globally on 15 July.
