Scott Derrickson has headed absolutely again into horror territory for his newest movie, a reunion with the Blumhouse staff (and Ethan Hawke) for The Black Cellphone. Try the newest trailer for the brand new thriller.

Set within the ‘70s, The Black Cellphone stars newcomer Mason Thames as Finney, a 13-year-old who’s kidnapped by Hawke’s masked marauder (identified colloquially as ‘The Grabber’) and held in a basement with a disconnected landline – and when that landline begins to ring it’s the spirits of The Grabber’s former victims on the opposite finish, intent on serving to Finney keep away from an identical destiny. In the meantime, Finney’s sister Gwen (Madeleine McGraw) is having goals of her brother’s disappearance that could be extra like psychic visions.

Tailored by Derrickson and common collaborator C. Robert Cargill from Joe Hill’s chilling brief story, the movie has already been successful over crowds at occasions similar to Incredible Fest, and might be creeping into UK cinemas on 24 June.
